Jeff has absolutely nailed this down for me. Though I tend to be far more involved with the tech side of worship now, I did struggle with the differences of worship as a bass player to now being behind a computer or sound board. IT IS THE SAME. Worship is doing what you were created to do. Jeff has a great conversational style in his writing which makes this easy to follow and absorb. He shares many deep truths to ponder as he really delves into the depths of true worship. A must -read for any worship (or tech) leader, as well as any team members!
As a worship leader myself, Jeff's book was a powerful call to go deeper and higher in our adoration of God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. The truth really does make us free! There is so much good truth in the pages of this book! I am so proud of the journey God has taken Jeff on and his heart and passion are evident in every word. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to grow in faith and wisdom and I look forward to sharing it with my worship team!
