Book was good. Could of been two. One of anecdotal stories and one of instruction.
Interesting. Seems more geared towards younger people regarding writing style.
"The Premonition Code" is an excellent, especially well-written and accessible book. It focuses on some of the newest science about some supernormal things, especially precognition. Theresa Cheung and Dr. Julia Mossbridge provide not only excellent methods to encourage the development of your own precognitive awareness, but also a very good code of ethics for your personal conduct while you develop your own skills. Having known or worked over many years with professional intuitives and psychics I’d yet to see a good, simple code of personal conduct which I like. This book has that, embodied in its “R.E.A.C.H.†principles, conceived by Dr. Mossbridge.Using very cleverly combined methods of several different ways of perceiving information beyond your usual senses, this book has the fabulous means for you to teach yourself how to look backwards and forwards in time. You can participate, and learn new skills or refine those you’ve already practiced. Yes, precognition can and does happen every day. Whether or not you notice precognition or clairsentience, or use them, is up to you. Many fundamental mysteries or our Hearts and minds remain inexplicable by scientific method and all the scientists who play in it. You (we) instead need to trust your own mind and Heart, opening yourself to the way the cosmos really works and moves. You are that which you think, do, feel, and imagine you can really do.The Premonition Code’s new website is also a public acknowledgement of things we all experience to some degree, but are sometimes unwilling or afraid to discuss because we might prefer the support of mainstream scientists. But because mainstream scientists can’t prove how precognition or other anomalous phenomena happen, they sometimes say they *can’t* happen. Of course that’s a false observation. In addition to reading and using their book, I also invite you to participate in Theresa's and Dr Julia's grand social networking project, backed by the very accessible but solid science which "The Premonition Code" honors. The Premonition Code website is designed so that it could be the largest scientific study to date of precognition. You can evaluate your own skills even if you’ve never done so. Thus millions of us have an amazing opportunity to work and play with other birds of our feather and Heart. Who wouldn't love *those* sorts of joys? ;-)In our current Western societies and culture, it’s very, very handy to have tribal and cultural assent, confirmation and approval about all of our experiences. And the most accepted way that’s gonna happen is when renowned scientists confirm that inexplicable experiences and phenomena did and do happen all the time. Now, simply because it can't explain how supernormal phenomena actually function, popular Western scientific culture has long been a colossal, oceanic, iceberg-bound cruise ship trying to navigate through polar ice caps of our own making. Amid the realities of the daily subtle or supernormal experiences we all have, 300 years of our own 'thought-bergs' in popular Western science had impeded or even frozen our forward progress in being and becoming our best versions of ourselves. When most good scientists can’t explain the cause of something they’ll be inclined to tell you it never happened. But then a closed attitude becomes the opposite of scientific, and turns into a social problem in the understanding and acceptance of reality. This books counteracts that. It’s a wonderful thing that the popularity of a scientific thought or theory was never the same thing as either reality or fundamental truths ;-) .The spirit of this book instead and openly presages a true thaw among ice-bound scientific minds, thus creating real and forward progress. Yet Theresa’s and Dr. Julia’s cultural and scientific missions go much farther than that. They aim to make this very practical book a brilliant focus, a beacon cutting through our ice-bound oceanic thought to bring all of us together.‘Science’ can't explain everything. And even if it could ~ the passionate, mind-blowing, essential mysteries of our existence and cosmos would evaporate beyond our ken, like the steam from a hot cuppa tea or coffee. Joy and fun in life require our grateful surrender to amazing, daily mysteries.Decades ago as a 1980 university undergraduate I had to trust that I didn’t always need scientists to tell me something big had happened. Or to give me permission that it did happen. Yet I still craved the science of some of the best to show me I was anything but nuts, and that there do, very much in fact, quietly exist thousands (if not millions) of clairsentients with similar supernormal experiences to mine. All I had to do was to begin to let myself meet these other people, and to both learn from and work with them. And I also found something completely unexpected: they often needed my tribe’s perceptions and experiences to advance or enhance their scientific theories.I'm a 43-year long, very much firsthand observer of fun, accessible, highly practical yet scientific books and audio, published by teachers of clairsentience (which includes precognition). I can tell you that excellent books on clairsentience by great authors with those qualities are especially rare. Having a look into my memory for an example of one of the first good books I read about consciousness and scientific mindsets, I recall the 1975-ish book by Nicholas Regush and Jan Merta, "Exploring the Human Aura: A New Way of Viewing and Investigating Psychic Phenomena", published by Prentice-Hall. The pulsing beacon of that book's energy drew me toward it as I browsed the library of a big seaside city, which was then also known for the highest per capita heroin usage west of the Mississippi. Lotus flowers grow very happily by floating blissfully above muddy muck, right? ;-)
The title is “The Premonition Code: The Science of Precognition: How Sensing the Future Can Change Your Lifeâ€. Premonitions are feelings, thoughts or images of something that may happen. I assumed there would be more of a scientific method to accessing them, particularly since a scientist is one of the authors. When the authors finally explained their method in Chapter 5, it is Remote Viewing, which has been around for many years. They added REACH, which is simply an ethical code about being honest in your dealings with Remote Viewing and the “Handshake with your Higher Selfâ€. Of course, one should be ethical particularly if doing this for a client. I’m not sure why a mnemonic was needed. “Handshake with your Higher Self†is no different than meditating or quieting yourself to receive. So, old practice with a new package.
Authors Mossbridge and Cheung unite to give readers a clear view of precognition, which is the scientific name for premonitions or the knowledge or perception of the future. READ THIS BOOK to find that premonitions are common and may occur in waking vision, auditory hallucinations, flashing thoughts entering the mind, a sense of knowing and physiological changes that portend future events. Precognition seems to not draw on information from the five senses, memory or logic. The authors give many examples of people's lives that were saved or enhanced by information received in dreams that go beyond time and space and help us to appreciate life in a multidimensional fashion. Readers may be able to further advance their own precognitive abilities and appreciate the many values of this wondrous gift of precognition. Well Done!
The Premonition Code provides an opportunity to apply methods for accessing your precognition capacities. Through stories and examples, the authors share a context for experiences beyond our usual senses. Intuition is validated as a means of gathering information beyond present time and space. I appreciate the playful tone of the book as well as the clarity of a code of ethics, which is essential for the integrity of positive precognition. The science of precognition is addressed and the authors are clear there is more to be studied. The Premonition Code website is an excellent source for practicing precognition, for being part of a community, for experiencing positive precog webinars, and for accessing relevant research.
Mind expanding book.
