This is the first book I have read from the author and I loved it. The story was well written, the characters engaging and relatable, and the plot is perfect. I’m already looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I loved the little twists and turns and the unexpected surprise that blew everyone away. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. I hope there will be some love for Avery in the future. She would be a fantastic mate for one of the siblings. I just know it. Oh well, only time and the authors muse will tell.
Genevieve Jack has done it again. Readers will be sucked in from the first paragraph and find it difficult to put this book down. GJ is fantastic at world-building, and her creative mind is nothing short of brilliant. This series is going to take the PNR world by storm. I'm eagerly awaiting the rest of The Treasure of Paragon books.
It bothers me that it has taken me this long to get done with this book and post a review. That is mainly because it has nothing to do with the book, just too much on my end.The book: I almost could have written the book after reading the first couple of chapters - almost. But the ending? Well, it didn't turn out the way I thought it would. Well, it did and it didn't. There was a little "extra twist" that was a little surprising but surprising in a good way.I think I have read every book the author has written and they are all great. It has been quite a while between books and it is great to have new stuff coming out. Genevieve Jack is a really good writer and this is "just another" in a series of 5-star books she has written, and this one has dragons and a sorcesoress. Awesome!
In true Genevieve Jack style this Dragon series is phenomenal already. Weaving a story that will cross over to the next book and intertwining characters and family members made me a huge fan of her previous books. This one did not disappoint and I am anxiously waiting for the next one. Steamy, erotic, pulse pounding and edge of my seat action kept me entranced in this book. Loved it!
I have read a number of books by this author and have enjoyed them a lot. I have also have read a number of "dragon paranormal romance" type books before too. This one, unlike the others, has an amazing storyline. 100% different kind of dragon, background, etc... This isn't all dragons btw... So, sit back and enjoy this great read... Totally can't wait for book 2!!!
I love Dragon shifters so of course when one of your favorite author decides to write about them I was sold. It's only the first book of the series but I am liking where this series is going already. I felt like we could of gotten more at the end but maybe the author has more up her sleeves and that's why she didn't give us more. I am looking forward to the next installment.
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written, and the characters were intriguing. Of course having New Orleans as a setting was a plus. The author used the setting almost as a character. There were several twists in the plot that also kept this reader ingrossed in the story. I look forward to the other books about these characters and the siblings.
Gabriel is a dragon in serious need of help. He needs to find the right person to help him break a spell. When he is just about to give up he finds Raven. Raven has battled cancer for a long time and just when she is about to lose the battle Gabriel shows up with an offer that is to good to pass up.
