This probably the only useful textbook I've had to purchase during my time at college. Likewise, this review can apply to the Quickbooks software itself.This textbooks comes with two disks; one with the software and one with all your student files. All of these can also be downloaded from their website.I took this course as an online class and I must say this textbook was far more useful than my professor.It flows really well and teaches you everything you'd need to know about using the software. By the end you could easily do thorough bookkeeping for a small to mid-size business, of any type. Don't worry about difficulty. If you are fairly tech-savvy you should have no problem learning Quickbooks with this textbook. It's the only book from this semester that I'm not selling.

I bought New Accounting Book, and the reason I bought new one because I thought it would come with 20 digit registration code. which I need to access for my course materials. Why does this new book not come with 20 digit registration code? It should be mentioned in the description that there is no access code included. I wasted time and money. I will have to return and order from somewhere else. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to provide a new access code.

CD didn't work , I have a class & unfortunately QuickBooks CD cannot be install to any computers . So I couldn't pass much of my homework , exams & project & it was force for me to buy another package from collage and pay extra for same order ! and be hope to pass this class .Please let me know who has respond for this situation ???? Before buying this text and associated software make sure it is compatible with your computer. If buying used, you may have some problems when it comes to registering the software.

This is a great textbook. But I'm only 4 weeks into the class and have already found 2 errors (actually the same error just in both sample companies) with the sample files that accompany this book. And the textbook is in sync with those errors. I would think that with all the money that is being paid in for the book that the proofreading/formatting could be completely accurate before the book is printed. I have no other complaints about this book. It's really easy to follow and understand. It explains processes thoroughly in a step by step format. I am confident that by the time I'm done with my class, I will be able to pass the user certification test.

Buying a new version of the textbooks provides you with the trial CD. the text is useful as basically the instruction manual on how to use Quickbooks and is a good reference to see how to perform certain task.

Even though you purchase the product new don't expect to have the needed access codes! Which for anyone needing this for school you wont be able to use it without purchasing a separate access code purchase.

I ordered this thinking that there would be two cd’s included, which are necessary to complete this course. However, there were no cd’s and I have to now go and buy another copy that does.
